The Self Image Blueprint

What you see when you look in the mirror is really a reflection of your surface self. It’s just a reflection of your physical being. The real you is truly beyond this blog. However, let's dive in, and give a little deeper aspect of your hidden greatness.

While your physical body and appearance are important, it’s the self-image that is locked into your subconscious mind, and that is the real navigator of your life. Because your Self-image determines your success or failure in your life.

While, the real you is perfect, boundless, limitless, and is always looking for ways to expand, the self-image in your surface mind is based on the false premises and limited information that you have received before the age of 7 age old, which sets the boundaries and limitation of every area of your life.

So if you see within your inner environment that you are timid, improvised, not good enough, or unlovable, you will feel and act accordingly to that lackluster Self Image blueprint.

 Moreover, you will create results in your outer world that reflect the Self Image Blueprint that you have imprinted inside your inner world.

Even if you promise yourself that you’re going to do something different on a surface level, you will not deviate from the internal Self Image blueprint.

Unless you address your internal Self Image Blueprint, life will always be more of the same.

The automatic pilot in an airplane

Humans, animals, airplanes, and certain vehicles contain something called a cybernetic mechanism.

Cybernetics is the science of control and communication in humans, animals, and some machines. A cybernetic mechanism measures the deviation from a set target and then sends the information to an instrument( or in a human case the Subconscious Mind), that will correct the alignment and get it back on track so it is moving toward the desired destination. This was shared in the fabulous book, one of the most powerful books on human transformation, Psycho Cybernetic by Maxwell Maltz 

Here is the breakdown

Before an airplane takes off, the pilot programs a flight pattern into the plane’s computer system. When the plane goes off course during the flight, the cybernetic system measures the deviation from the destination (the set target) and corrects the flight pattern.

The fabulous news is, that each human, has the same kind of cybernetic or self-correcting mechanism inside them. It’s called a Self-Image Blueprint. It is your internal blueprint that is definitely one of the major factors that govern your life.

Here’s a common example of how this self-correcting mechanism might work in your life.

Let’s suppose that Dave's self-image blueprint is overweight. It might not be something that he ever talks about, but outside his external environment, he is underweight.

One day, he gets tired of feeling that way, and he decides to do something about it. He declares, “I’m going on a diet.” And he instantly moves into action, which l call surface activity.

He becomes very strict about what he eats. He cut way back on his food portions, and he stops eating things he likes because he thinks they make him fat. And, of course, he is quickly losing weight.

But here’s the rub....

He is not overweight because of the foods he is eating. He is overweight because of the Self-image blueprint he is holding in his subconscious mind. That Self-image Blueprint causes him to hold on to extra body fat.

Jenny has a “skinny” self-image blueprint, she could eat all the foods she likes, including things like chocolate. Then, whenever she overeats, she simply passes off the extra food—what’s not needed to manifest her internal Self-image blueprint that’s in her mind's eye.

Here’s the rub..

When an underweight or overweight individual goes on a diet without altering their self-image blueprint, any weight gain or weight loss will be temporary. The self-image blueprint, which is a barometer, a cybernetic mechanism, measures the deviation and immediately corrects the course and any weight gain/loss will be found.

If the individual is going to keep the weight off, they will have to change the internal mental landscape of their Self-Image Blueprint.

“A strong, positive self-image is the best possible preparation for success and happiness.”

In a nutshell, it is an inside job.

Until we change our internal Self Image Blueprint of ourselves, we will continue to be stuck in the same predicament, and situations. and events that are going on in our lives.

So, in a nutshell, if Dave, doesn't learn to address his internal Self Image blueprint his weight will continue to fluctuate from weight loss to weight gain.

We will get into a loving relationship, sabotage it, end the relationship, and then do it all over again. Not realizing that this has been a habitually recurring event, throughout our lives.

We’ll start earning a certain amount of money and then have a ceiling to our earning capability based on our Self Image Blueprint.

Why do individuals feel so stuck?

Unfortunately, a majority of humans, live a certain way, which is counterintuitive to their Self Image that way because they don’t know any different. Due to social conditioning, the blueprint we feel it’s normal to stay in our lane and blend in with the crowd not acknowledging our uniqueness.

And that is rather miserable because we should live the way we want to live. But to do that, we need to have a real deeper understanding of the concept of one Self- Image blueprint and cybernetics.

For a life-changing experience, ones need to keep the mind on a higher image of themselves rather than a lower Self Image Blueprint. I realize that is not always an easy thing to do, but it sure pays great dividends for the individual who is prepared to do the inner work to develop a new Self Image Blueprint.
